Hello, welcome to the Research pages for the All Wales Community Living Network
Wales has an earned an international reputation for conducting high quality research into learning disability with a particular emphasis for ensuring that this research should be of relevance to all. These pages will provide information on learning disability research that has been completed, being conducted and being planned within Wales. Wales is also home of the Learning Disability and Autism Research Network (LDAN). News about LDAN activities and events will also be posted here.
The aims of these pages are to promote participation in all areas of research and to facilitate the dissemination of resarch across a wide range of issues and concerns dealing with learning disabilities.

Research on these pages will be consistent with the All Wales Community Living Network, principles of existing to help people and their families, provider agencies, commissioners of service, and regulators of services to find better ways of working together in an open and cooperative partnership that promote the rights and opportunities of people with a learning disability both locally and nationally.
